Pasta with Brown Butter Garlic Sauce

Ingredients –

  1. Pasta – 150g
  2. Salted Butter – 3 tbsp
    If using unsalted, add salt to taste
  3. Olive Oil – 1 tbsp
  4. Crushed garlic cloves – 2
  5. Salt for boiling Pasta
  6. Water for Pasta
  7. Black Pepper – to taste

Procedure –

  1. Boil pasta in Salted boiling water till cooked through.
  2. Meanwhile, heat Butter and Olive Oil in a pan on medium low heat.
  3. Add the crushed Garlic and simmer until the butter browns.
  4. Add boiled pasta, Black Pepper and a dash of the pasta cooking water.
  5. Give it a good toss and serve immediately.

Note – I used my hand rolled Basil Pasta for this, so I didn’t add any herbs, you can add any herbs of your choice.
